Hi and welcome to the WVC Youth Ministry page! Our goal is to shape students from 7th-12th grades into true followers of Christ. To help in this process, we provide many different opportunities for teens such as youth group, mission trips, camps, retreats, service projects, Bible studies and various fun events. Our hope is to partner with parents in helping youth learn and understand what it truly means to be a follower of Christ.

Tuesday Night Youth Group

(6:30-8:30 PM) - Youth Center 
Students hang out together, play games, worship, hear relevant messages and discuss important topics with their peers and mentors. 

WEDNESDAY Night Bible Study

 (6:30-7:30 PM) - Youth Room #309
During the school year, junior and senior high teens have the opportunity to meet each week (except for the 4th Wednesday of the month) for in-depth Bible study.  

"Can I Ask That?"

Last Wednesday of the month (6:30 - 7:30 PM) ~ Youth Center
"Can I Ask That?" is a night for students and their questions. We will discuss questions regarding our current teaching series or any other questions students have regarding faith and life.

Sunday Morning Class

(8:50-9:50 AM) - Youth Center
Students learn and discuss relevant topics that challenge their faith.

OPPORTUNITIES & EVENTS

Youth Winter Retreat

February 21 - 23 ~ Lost Creek Christian Village (Naches, WA)
Join us for a weekend away for worship, discussion, and fun in the snow! We'll leave WVC at 6:00 p.m. on Friday (eat dinner before you come), then return at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. The cost is $100 before Monday, February 10 and $120 after that date. Scholarships are available. Pick up an information sheet and Parental Consent & Liability Release Form at the church office or print one HERE and bring it into the church office with your payment.

Youth Mall Manhunt

Saturday, February 8 @ 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. ~ Meet at WVC
Scavenger hunt meets Where’s Waldo at the Columbia Center Mall! The cost is $5/person. The WVC bus will transport youth to the Tri-Cities. Pick up a Parental Consent & Liability Release form at the church office, youth room, or print one HERE.

Breakthrough

March 13-15 (Friday @ 7:00 p.m. to Sunday @ 11:30 a.m.) ~ WVC
This is a  district event geared towards developing student leaders. Be inspired as you choose from a large variety of seminars to learn from. For fun, we'll enjoy a dodgeball tournament and a night at the Yakima Family Fun Center!  NNU Covenant will be leading worship.

The cost is $50 before Sunday, February 16 and $60 after this date. Pick up a Parental Consent & Liability Release form at the church office, youth room, or print one HERE.
