GENEROSITY
"Blessed are those who are generous." (Proverbs 22:9)
Your Year-End Giving Makes A Difference!
2019 Year-End Donations must be received or postmarked by Tuesday, December 31, 2019. According to IRS pub526, in order to claim charitable contributions over $250, you must have a contribution statement prior to filing your taxes. WVC contribution statements will be mailed no later than
January 31, 2020. (Between Christmas and New Year’s Day, the church office will be open December 30 & 31, from 9:00 a.m. - noon.)
To give on your mobile device, text "WVCNAZ" to the phone# 77977.
You will receive a text message with a link to give. Follow the prompts. After you give the first time, enable fast mode to make future giving even easier. To give and stay connected with West Valley Church events, download our app. For more information, contact the church office.
A Word on giving
We are happy to be able to offer online giving as an option for individuals and families as they make choices about their church giving. Online giving has several advantages: you can conveniently manage your giving from home; schedule regular gifts on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis; and generate reports for record-keeping and tax purposes.
We encourage you to make your tithes and gifts part of your regular budget and to give as a percentage of your income.
Rest assured that this service is secure and that your data is protected using the highest industry standards. If you would like assistance in setting up your account, please feel free to make an appointment in the office - we will be happy to walk you through it.
We are able to process debit and credit cards without distinction, though we recognize there IS a significant distinction between them. We do not advise anyone to make use of a credit card to make a gift to the church. However, we recognize some of you may choose to use a credit card to make your gift, because of benefits that accrue through the card (e.g. frequent flyer miles). Please do exercise good judgment as you make decisions in such matters. We believe God calls all people to freedom from cycles of debt and a lifestyle of consumerism - from such a position we can truly become joyful givers!
